Supported by Aviator Foundation
Aircrew Functional Health Support Scheme
Physiotherapy for aircrew. One all-inclusive session is HK$1,980, settled two ways: HK$990 in cash and HK$990 in Aviator Foundation credits you have earned. Your receipt shows the service fee and states clearly how each part was settled, so whatever your insurer asks for, the answer is already on the paper.
What one session includes
One scheme rate, one slot, every modality on the table. Your therapist decides clinically which machines your body needs that day.
The slot is booked at 60 minutes, but in practice it runs to 90 minutes almost every time — the extension is automatic whenever a bed is free, and it nearly always is. Treat 60 as the guaranteed floor rather than what you should expect.
Advanced Therapy — all four included
How that compares with a standard session
Plans and providers vary a great deal, so treat the right-hand column as the common pattern rather than a rule. Check your own plan and ask any provider what their quoted rate actually includes.
Under this Scheme
- All four Advanced Therapy modalities available
- 90 minutes in practice — 60 booked, extended automatically
- Shockwave carries no extra charge
- One flat scheme rate
Commonly, on a standard rate
- Advanced Therapy machines often sit outside the basic fee
- Around 30 minutes is a typical slot
- Shockwave is frequently billed on top — roughly HK$368 a region is a common figure
- Add-ons priced individually

How you earn your credits
Credits are earned, not given. They are what settles the other half of your session fee.
Before you book
Most crew lose money by not understanding their own card, not by the price of treatment.
Understanding your medical card
Per case vs annual limit, why pay-and-claim protects your pool, and how to claim a physiotherapy session step by step.
Cathay: balance, claims and CMT
Where to read your remaining balance, the claim sequence for a physiotherapy session, and how the CMT benefit sits alongside it.
Pay & claim practice run
Every claim-form answer in order, with one-tap copy for the ones that never change — plus the Back-button trick that turns your next claim into a thirty-second job.
Terms & conditions
These are the terms on the acknowledgement you sign. Tap any line to open it.
1. No double claim
No double claim shall be made to an insurance company, in accordance with Hong Kong insurance regulation and the practice of the Hong Kong insurance panel.
2. Non-transferable and non-refundable
All benefits, sponsorship support, treatment credits and pricing arrangements under this Scheme are strictly personal, non-transferable and non-refundable.
3. Credits are earned, and are not cash
Aviator Foundation credits are earned through membership tasks and settle part of your session fee. They exist to offset the shortfall between your medical card reimbursement and the cost of care. They are not a cash benefit, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be drawn in any other form.
4. Booking length
Bookings are made in 60-minute slots. If a bed is available on the day, treatment extends up to 90 minutes.
5. The therapist chooses the modality
Your therapist selects the treatment modality used. Requesting a specific modality by name (for example the M6) is charged at full price, without the scheme rate.
6. Treatment only, not equipment
The scheme rate applies to physiotherapy treatment only. If applied toward the purchase of physiotherapy equipment, a 25% mark-up is added to each product.
7. Cash only
Sessions under this Scheme are settled in cash.
8. Staff card on first visit
Your airline staff card must be presented on your first visit.
9. Foundation sponsorship and eligibility
The sponsored portion of this Scheme is supported by Aviator Foundation for eligible Foundation Members in support of functional health access. Sponsorship is subject to approval and ongoing eligibility.
10. You remain responsible for payment
By signing the acknowledgement you remain responsible for payment to CPR Physio for services rendered, including any amount not covered by sponsorship support or otherwise deemed payable under the applicable terms.
11. Right of final decision
The company reserves the right to interpret, amend, approve, suspend or terminate this Scheme, and to include or exclude any particular client. The final decision in all cases rests solely with the company.
